Nat' the skiing woman I think that the jacket that comes inside of the jacket should have a better look. to me it looks like i'm wearing a pillow. So I will just be wearing the 'pillow' inside of my jacket for now on.

stitchbird2118315 I bought this 3 in 1 jacket in blue & I love this coat!! I am 59 slender. I got a size large as I do with all North Face tops (Im a North Face junky). I like that it isnt short when I raise my arms. Also, its not tight across the back or a bulky fit. I get lots of compliments on this coat. It has a built in powder skirt & inside pockets. Thus far I have worn it with the inside liner in, so I dont know how it is with just 1 or the other but Im sure great! It also boasts other nice features like zip pits & velcro on the sleeves. The hood is detachable too but I havent worn it with out. Well worth the price ,especially since I got mine 20% off on sale!! This will be a fave for many cold Colorado winters to come!

emi2591720 Great jacket. I bought the blue and skied for 2 weeks in St. Moritz (Switzerland). Jacket fits well, hood is detachable (and comes in handy if youre caught in a snow / rain storm). The liner is warm enough to wear on its own - I even skied in just the liner for a few days. Plenty of pockets for your goggles, iPod, keys, money, etc. Even has a cloth for cleaning your goggles / sunglasses in a sleeve pocket. Was great for skiing, but is warm enough to wear around in the cold weather, as Ive done here all winter in NYC. I prefer this to a bulky down jacket for running errands, etc. any day!

pau100275057 The liner could be longer. I bought the red jacket, and it does not look anything like the picture, its rather close to pink. I cant wear pink, so Im sending it back. Bought the Arctic Blue one instead.About breathability: I wore my blue one snowshoeing for about an hour and was soaked, completely soaked, regardless of the under arm vents.

Ann I bought TNF Kira Triclimate to wear to Breckenridge CO in Feb. to go skiing. I wore it with a TNF Khumbu Fleece under and a base layer and was warm in 0 degrees weather. It served my purpose and also kept me dry. I`m really happy with the purchase and Backcountry had the best price for it. Great service too.Thanks.

maureen1782445 Awesome jacket!!! Very warm, very comfortable and functional. My only thought is that I wish the inner jacket would zip to the shell... so I didnt have to zip twice each time but apparently they do that for extra warmth which I can appreciate. Love it!

Michele IF anyone is looking for black ( not shown in Back Country.com) I found one @ campmor.com IT has a hint of white, just like the navy blue one shown here, but this wont go with my black pants. They also have XL price right now is $219. Good deal!

sho2674616 My teenage daughter has worn the shell since she received it for Christmas. The liner is beautiful and warm-Ive borrowed and worn it alone. Although the sleeves could be longer.

lisamcclel1959384 Nice jacket but sleeves to short and fit is off for anyone over 56. I agree the colors are off and the jacket did not look like the pic. I thought the shell would be nicer.
